COLOR BLOCKING, yes it's still a trend.

7/18/16

This summer season of 2016 is all about color blocking. Whether you see it in bathing suits, two piece sets or t-shirts it's everywhere. This dress which is from Romwe.com is all about following the summer trend. Not only is it THE most comfortable day dress it's also a great pairing of two colors. The bright orange in the middle causes the dress to pop but the baby pink above and below give a great contrast. Allowing the dress to have a laid back look. I personally have seen a ton of color blocking dresses that you can only wear out at night or for events. This one on the other hand can be worn out during the day to run errands or even for a picnic. I paired the baby doll dress with some espadrille sandals from Franco Sarto.
In addition, if you wanted to amp up the laid back look I would add a neutral small bag or a colorful woven clutch which would create a more boho look.

Party Like It's 1776

7/6/16

If you live in the U.S. I hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July festivities. I personally had such a relaxed long weekend that was much needed. For all of my viewers who are not from the U.S., first of all hello!! I wanted to take a moment to thank you all who read my blog from all parts of the world. I LOVE IT. Anyways, like I was saying, if you're not from the U.S. then you probably didn't know that Monday was Independence Day and everyone had a long weekend filled with celebration and fireworks.

I wanted to create a mini look book to show you what I wore this weekend to parties. I made these outfits a bit more simple. Therefore, you can wear this look at any time without having to save that one american flag shirt for the following year.
I stuck with the all american colors, red, white and blue. My overall dress was a lucky find at H&M. The white shirt on the inside is actually a white crop top I also found at H&M and resembled Topshop material a lot. Sandals are by Franco Sarto, oversized sweater from H&M and necklaces from Macy's jewelry section. I incorporated the red later on with a subtle lip stain but nothing too drastic.

I hope you found some cute outfit inspiration from that outfit as you can obviously wear it to any event this summer. Below is another outfit I wore later that weekend. The dress is actually from Marshalls. You can find similar ones at Forever21 and H&M. My heels are from Charlotte Russe and oh my gosh they are the most comfortable heeled sandals I own.

The swimsuit I wore on the 4th is from Tommy Hilfiger's summer collection. I hope you all enjoyed this post stay tuned for more event posts like this!

Goodbye High School

7/4/16

Putting all of the pictures together into one post made me sad and happy. It's surreal how fast High School goes by and I couldn't be happier with how my time went. Above are pictures from Junior and Senior prom as well as Graduation. I hope you enjoy seeing these as much as I do.

TV Appearance CT Style

6/29/16

For almost a year and a half you all know that I was signed as a model in my state as well as New York. Luckily June 8th I was able to appear on a famous tv station in my state. I was asked to model along side a fellow model who is known in the business as well. We were modeling on CT Style on News8 for some boutiques who we would feature later that Saturday at a Fashion Show.
I wanted to share with you all this experience because I'm so thankful and still astonished that this actually happening. I still can't believe it happened even after I watch the behind the scene clips I have. I'm sure that if you want to watch the full segment you can go on http://www.wtnh.com/ctstyle and then look for either me or 'fashion show preview'.

I got to model with beautiful white and gold mini dress from Joseph Ribkoff and accessories from a boutique called Idiom.

The first clip above is behind the scenes look from the control room and the second clip I recorded while I saw the segment live on my TV ( and yes I was very giddy). I can't wait to see the many more opportunities that will arise just like this one and I can't wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned for a post all about the Fashion Show that we were promoting.
